My Day (26/7)

This morning after breakfast, we got ready and attended Sunday Online Catholic Mass at 9.30 am. As I couldn't find the site on my desktop, so I used my hp to go into the site.

Our Mass ended at 10.30 am. Later when mum is free, I ask her to help me to clean up some of my old coins. Janice bought Subway for mum and me for lunch.

After lunch, I did some writing before I rest

After my rest, Janice helped me to measure 2 dresses for a buyer.

In the evening, I didn't do many things as my eyes hurt me. Most of the time, I face with this problem if I stare too much on the computer.

At night I got a buyer to purchase an item.  I also continue my writing.

Thank you, God, for this day. Thank you too that someone purchases my item at cheap price.

My Day (25/7)

This morning after breakfast, I did my writing/download my photos/arranging my coins. Since my coins were too old and the colors' turn black, I couldn't see the names and years of the coins. So I could arrange much into my book.

Lunch and dinner are always very simple and little for me as I couldn't eat much.

After lunch, I came back to my room and check my photos and then took a rest.

In the evening, Janice went out to our nearby market place to buy dinner.  Our market would turn into hawkers' stalls in the evening to midnight. There are all types of food selling there. Janice said she would buy Japanese food sushi for us.

At night, I check my photos on my pc. When I see Julie I miss her so much

 My dinner (25/7)

The food Janice bought sushi, satay & mashroom soap

My Day (24/7)

Friday, 24 July 2020

My Day (24/7)

After breakfast, I was happy a buyer from Sarawak purchased my items. So I ask mum to help me wrap my items.

I’m really happy that Fr Mashall and Maureen came for a visit this morning. We talk and laugh. They gave me some joy when I see them. We talk about Covid-19, and  other topics too. They were with us for an hour.

After they left, I came back to my room and do my writing.

During my rest time, I was happy my item (Reacher) I bought from Shopee online arrived. Janice took from the guardhouse for me. We quickly open it, but to our disappointment, the Reacher didn’t work well.  Janice took back to check it.

After my evening bath, I arrange the things in my room and did my writing.

After dinner, I continue my writing.

Even though, I occupied myself throughout the day, yet my heart is full of loneliness.
Every day, I miss and keep thinking of Julie.

Thank you, God, for this day

My Day (23/7)

This morning I chat with a buyer online (Carousell) who is interested to purchase my items. She is from Sarawak, she asks me if I can send my items on Flexi Prepaid as it's cheaper. Usual postage is more expensive to Sabah/Sarawak.

Around 11 am Janice to mum and me to Shen Ru (our cousin) apartment in Straits Quey to see her place. It was a nice and cozy place. From there together with Aunty Joyce (Shen Ru mum) we went down to a Healy Mac's & Irish Bar Restaurant to have lunch. We have western We food are the only customers there. Janice and Shen Ru order all the food. We have a good time eating and chatting. I only eat and quietly listen to them. It's a nice gathering

After lunch we say goodbye. Before coming home, Janice did some errands.
We arrive home around 2.15 pm, we are all very tired. We got ready and went to rest.

In the evening, I didn't do anything except clear my things in my room.

After dinner, I did my writing.

Thank you, God, I have a nice day

My Day (22/7)

In the morning, Janice, mum, and I went to Dark Mansion (a tourist spot) Lebuh Kimberley, George Town. It was a very nice place as inside was in darkness. And it was decorated with beautiful and unique beautiful light.  We took many photos there. Since it was lunchtime, we walked to a nearby eating shop and ate there before we came back.

After my rest, I took my bath and in the evening I tidy up my room. I download our photos on the computer which we took in the morning.

At night after dinner, I update my writing as the whole day I didn't write anything

Thank you, God, for I have enjoyed myself throughout this morning. And thank you God that Janice brought us out.

My Day (21/7)

Tuesday, 21 July 2020

My Day (21/7)

After breakfast, I came to my room and did some google search on other tourist spots. There are so many interesting places which I never knew it.

I plan to continue arranging my coin but didn't manage to do it. Mum and Janice want to change the bedsheet. My usual place to arrange my coin is on my bed, so what I did was google search until lunchtime.

After lunch, I continue my writing until my rest time. After my rest, Janice came to dye my hair before my bath.

In the evening/night there was a big storm and the lightning strikes our apartment main switch tripe down. So our only apartment blackout.  Janice wasn't at home so I called Mr. Tan (Janice neighbor) to help us. Luckily he was willing to help us. Within 15mins he came up to turn on back our switch.

Thank God he came to help us.

My day (20/7)

Monday, 20 July 2020

My Day (20/7)

In the morning I tried to participate in the SYOK app contest (a radio contest). I keyed in the details for more a half an hour and I was glad I manage to submit it. I took so long as it was my first joining this contest. Daily the result will be out at 5 pm and each day a winner will get RM500.00 if he/she answers a right question and give a good slogan.

After that, I continue my arranging my old coins and put them in my coin book. It's very interesting to see all the different countries' coins. I did it until lunchtime so I stop for the day.

After lunch, I took a rest for around two hours got up, took my evening bath. I did my writing and google search on Penang Tourist Spot. Why do I do so? As I yearn and plan to visit these places. It's not easy as all need time to plan properly

Evening and night come again. What I did was in my room was to continue my writing and doing things online

I was happy I have finished one of my write-up.

Thank you, God, I manage to do many things the whole day.

An Hour Of Therapy

16 July 2020

After my last  Occupation Therapy was two weeks ago, I was happy this morning I went again. When I went in the reception room, there were so many people.

When I got my no, I wheel myself to the therapy room. There were also many people in the therapy room. When Cik Muztika saw me, she asked me to go inside a room. Since two weeks ago, she had ask me bring my personal item (bra) as she intend to teach me how to wear it.

I was really happy she taught me how to wear my bra the correct way, as l tried to wear it before but it always turned out the wrong She also taught me how to wear my shorts with an easier way using a special equipment called  "Reacher" which she asked me to buy .

Even though this was not a regular exercise, but Cik Muz taught me was a very good thing  as it would be easier for me to do my daily my dressing.

After finished, I went back to th reception room to get next appointment date. I was given another month later. I feel quite sad.

Thank you God for Cik Muz who taught me to do my own dressing daily

A Nice Family Outing

 Friday, 10 July 2020

I didn't plan to go out with my family on Friday (10/7) but a day before Janice told me she wanted to bring me to Maybank. As to check my ATM card there were some problems with it.

Around 11 am that morning, Janice, mum and I went out. It was the first time the three of us went out after the RMCO. Our first stop was at Maybank Pulau Tikus. We weren't sure whether I should go down, so Janice went in to check with the officer. Luckily I need not have to go, instead, the bank officer came down to our car and asked me a few questions. Mum and I were in the car, while Janice handles everything for me.

After my ATM card was done, we adjourned to Gurney Plaza. This is the first time I entered the mall since four months ago (before COVID lockdown).

As Janice drove into the car park, a security guard took our temperature. We park at our usual OKU parking lot.

Our first stop was at Lower ground Guardian shop to buy a few of my things.
There were many people on that day, all were with a face mask. In every shop, before we going in we have to check-in on our hp app or write down our name. We also went to a few other shops to buy our necessary things. Sadly there were some shops have closed down due to Covid-19.

After buying our things, we went for lunch at Hideout Cafe on the 3rd floor. When we there, only a few tables were occupied. We ordered Pizza and a glass of cappuccino coffee and the three of us shared it.

When we finished our lunch, I wanted to ease myself. We went to the disabled toilet on the 3rd floor, but we found it was spoil as the door couldn't open. So Janice took me to the ladies' toilet, but there were too many people, so we got out from there. We adjourned to the ground floor disabled toilet, again it was spoil. We went into the ladies and at last, I manage to ease myself

As we were on the ground floor, we went to McDonald for some ice-cream. Most of the tables were occupied and people we queuing up to buy ice-cream.
It had been sometimes since I last ate Sundae Cone and I enjoyed it. We didn't know that we were sitting under the aircon. Wow... we felt so cold as eating the ice-cream at the same time.

After finished, we quickly got out of MCD. We went back down to the lower ground floor and headed to the car park. The disabled parking lot was near to the ramp, so we easily got into our car.

From Gurney, Janice adjourned to Ms. Chong's eye optical shop to pass her 2 boxes of old glasses. From there, we headed home.

I had a nice time with my family at Gurney. Thank you, God, for Janice to bring us out.

My Collections

Wednesday, 8 July 2020

Since early this week, I have been busy checking and arranging my old notes and coins which I have been keeping for a few years.

An Indian buyer from Kulim who has been purchasing my online items for the past few times, came back again to buy some of my items. As I was having clearing sale for my items, he bought my items at a cheaper price.

At the same time when we chat he asked me do I have old coins. He is collecting them as his hobby. I was happy to hear that. I thought to myself, maybe he would like to purchase my old coin.

He says would like to meet me and see my coins, maybe we could exchange them. I slightly hesitate as I didn't tell him I'm a disabled, Later when I told him. He said he sees everyone the same. I was glad to hear that.  From there, we contact through whatapps

On Wednesday (8/7) morning, he came to my apartment and I met him at our lobby. I passed him all the items which he bought and he paid me cash. After settling the purchase of our items, we talked about the coin albums we had. He showed me his 2 coin albums and I showed mine too. We exchanged some of the coins.  We spent an hour and a half chatting.

It was a nice morning getting to know a new friend who has the same hobby as mine.

Unexpected morning

Sunday 5 July 2020

On Sunday (5/7) I didn't expect to go out with my darling, as earlier a few days he told me would confirm with me. A day earlier, he came to my apartment for a recycling collection. I met him and he said meet me tomorrow, but I didn't hear clearly. I thought he would confirm with me that night but no calls or messages from him. So I took it that we were not going out.

The next day around 10.45 am, suddenly he called and told me will fetch me soon. I was surprised as I didn't get ready. So I told him to fetch me around
11 am. I quickly got ready as I was keen to go out. Luckily, I was ready in time when he arrived.

After fetching me, we stop at their center and meet Teik and his daughters there. I didn't know where we're going until Teik says going for lunch, then would go to see a Muzium.

Around noon, we went for lunch at a food court behind Sunshine Square. It was a big spacious place with hawkers stalls selling types of food. People were having their lunch. We searched for a suitable place to sit. Most of the tables and stools were not suitable for wheelchair users, as all the stools were not able to be removed. Luckily, we found a long table and my wheelchair could get in.

After lunch, we went to a War Muzium in Batu Maung. As the price was RM22.00 per person.  It was too expensive so we didn't go in. We hang outside for a while. I never knew or heard a War Muzium at Batu Maung until that day I saw the place.  From there, we went to nearby Aquarium Centre, but sadly it closed.

Since the day was too hot, we ended up in Tesco Gelugor. Many cars went into the car park, but luckily we manage to park at the usual OKU parking lot.

There were lots of people all with face masks at the grocery dept. It was good to see people were out again. I only bought a few packets of tissue papers.

We were back to their center and chit-chat and had some food they cooked themselves. It was good to be out and be with their companies

Six months

Sunday, 28 June 2020

Six months have passed by with an eclipse of an eye. Every day goes by without waiting for anyone and so many things have happened in this half a year.

These six months mostly bad things happen especially Covid-19 lockdown.  But earlier this year, I still get to for my activities, outings, etc.

I thank God I could do so many things, yet deep inside my heart I was full of sadness, loneliness, emptiness, etc.. There was no happiness in me. I'm in my room day in and out and front of my computer. I don't feel/want to talk to anyone, not even to my mum or Janice. I don't feel even to call my call friends to chat or share my feelings.

My heart is overloaded with too many things, I feel like explode. I want to cry but not able to as no tears. Want to shout, but I can't too. Talk to someone also I cannot as I do not able put my feelings into words.

Only GOD understands how I feel.
Dear God, please help me!!! Thank you that I'm able to put all my feelings into writing,

God, What Are You Doing In My Life?

Tuesday, 2 May 2022 I'm lying on my bed now thinking of my life. What is God doing in my life? I really cannot understand. I keep thin...
