OT/Physio Exercises -GH

Tuesday,  3 March 2020

This morning I went for regular Occupation Therapy continue by Physio Therapy. When I went into OT (room 1), I was the only one, though there were few other patients' who went in together with. They were guided to another room. I was the only person sitting and doing my exercise. The Malay lady therapy, Cik Muzi was in charge and helping me with my hand exercises. It was quite bored today, but there few male staff having a discussion about their work.

I continue my hand exercises. I did 2 exercises today, even that I felt slightly tired. I finished and I pushed myself out from room 1 and pushed to the front counter where mum was waiting. She was talking to a lady while waiting for me. I called her and she wheeled me to physio, which was another side of the department.

When mum wheeled me inside physio the front counter and I put my card there. I was given a number and I was immediately called inside. I felt happy that I didn't have to wait.

Today, was my first my Malay male therapy, En. Mat hole me to walk on the bard. It was since last year, I last walked on the bar. I felt really happy he made me walk and I did a few other hand and leg exercises.
When I did my leg cycling exercise, suddenly I started coughing non-stop,
I kept my mouth close yet the sound came out loudly. I'm afraid what nearby patients' will say about me. It's embarrassing that I can't stop coughing as now it's the Coronavirus epidemic

Mr. Mat, my therapy ask me "why your cough is so bad", but I answer him softly "that I'm taking medication"

After finished my exercises, I took my appointment card and pushed myself out from there. Mum was waiting outside for me to push me back

Coughing the whole week

Saturday, 29 February 2020

I have started coughing after my weekend (in QBay). Not only but that, it develops into slight flu and my tongue has an ulcer too. Due to my cough, my body felt very tired and weaken so I took rest from my boccia training and outings and stayed at home the whole week. The only places I went to were JKM (welfare office and Rehab-GH only).

Even though I'm coughing I insist not to take any cough medicine, even I took it from the doctor a few days ago. I unable to consume any medication as it will make my body weaker. The frightening thing is when my is weak, my spasm will easily attack me.

A command cough are able to make our chest painful, tired and weak, As I'm slightly weaker this week I can feel my spasm is attacking me. So, I need to take it easy.

I hope to get well and fit soon so I can continue my activities. Staying at home is very bored, as now being along in my room without Julie to talk to.

My morning at Rehab -GH

Thursday, 27 February 2020

Today I'm going to the Rehab Department in ACC Building, I’m taking Rapid van because I have to bring my big red wheelchair with me. Mum went together with me.
Azlan (Rapid driver) came to fetch me and drop me in front of ACC building. When I arrived at Rehab, there aren't many patients today, but I still have to wait for my name to be called.

I waited for more than half-hour, an Indian lady doctor called my name and I went into the room. She asked me "how I'm getting on? I told her I'm good, but my wheelchair footrest got some problems. She asks me to see the supplier (man) outside the corridor. I followed her, the man screwed up my footrest.  I thought I will follow the doctor back the room. “Ok, you can go back now, make an appointment for another 6 months.

I was thinking " WHAT!!! She didn't open my file to ask me my progress, didn't even ask me other questions. "Wah!!! What was a waste of time coming here".  The doctor was there, I ask her to give a cough mixture as I'm coughing the past few days. She asks me to wait outside.

While waiting, I saw many people queuing in front of the counter. Many parents brought their young severely disabled children for check-ups and buy new modify wheelchairs.

After the doctor wrote the chit for me, I still have to wait to get my next appointment date. When there were fewer people at the counter, I told the Malay nurse to give me an appointment 6 months later.
We adjourned to the main pharmacy (008) to take my cough medicine. Luckily, there were only a few people queuing up to take numbers. But then, we have to wait for 30 numbers ahead before our turn.

While waiting we went to the mini shop outside to buy bread at home. the shop was pack with people and the items are filling up the place too. After buying my bread, we still have to wait for our number. I ask mum to sit outside while I see the number from the glass door.  When my number, mum went in to collect my cough medicine.

After finish, I called Azlan to pick us from the main lobby. There were many cars lining up to fetch their family members. Actually I dislike waiting at the main lobby as there are too people and cars.  It's easier for him to pick us there.

I thank God for mum was a great help to me in GH. And also I still thank God for the things that happen that day.

Interview at JKM

Tuesday,  25 February 2020

This morning I went to Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (welfare office) in Complex Masyarakat Penyayang for the yearly interview for OKU Eluan Pekerja Cacat (monthly working allowances for people with disablities)

Last Friday, I received a letter from JKM to fill in the form and I have an interview on a date today.

Janice always fills in the form for me. Before I went today, I pray to God that the welfare officer don't ask me too many questions.

When I entered their office and submit my form, I saw a male officer interview a disabled man and asked him many questions. There were few others waiting for their turn. In my heart, I kept praying that they will keep their questions short for me.

I was waiting for my turn to be called, a Malay lady staff came in front of me and said to me "Lim Seok Ean, Kamu boleh balik" (you can go back). I was surprised and felt relief at the same time that they don't need to interview me.

While pushing out, I felt so and thank God answered my prayers. He answers more than what I have prayed. I called Janice to fetch me, while waiting outside I saw other disabled people still came for the interview.

It may be a small deal to many, but it's quite a big deal to me. I prefer not to talk so much with the welfare officers.

Outing to Queensbay Mall/Tesco Hypermarket

23 February 2020

This morning I went for an outing to Queensbays Mall with my darling,Teik, and his daughter. They fetched from my home and we straight went to the Mall. We went smoothly on the road with not much traffic. We reached the mall and we easily found a parking space.

I haven't entered into Queensbay Mall for a very long time, maybe since my last gathering with my disabled friends. Today, it was my first time enter there, I was so surprised almost the whole place changed so much. If I were to go there alone, I don't think I can "round" there alone.

We walked around the place while enjoying the cool air-con. We went to the third floor and I saw the place changed into an eating and many people were having their lunch. We went to Lower Ground, AEON food court/hypermarket. We had our lunch there. Darling pushed me round the place to see what to stalls.
There wasn't much choice, the four of us ended up eating Nasi Kandar. After eating, we went inside the hypermarket to buy our things. I bought a few things and checked out other stuff. Then, we adjourned to the counter. I wheeled myself out, while darling pay my items.

It was very cold and nice inside Queensbay. We took a rest outside near the parking area, then continue to the 2nd floor. We went around the place. Shops were opened, but not many people around there. We went back to the 3rd floor where the carpark was. It was really nice enjoying the cool air in the supermarket.

Then we adjourned to Tesco Hypermarket. I never knew there was a supermarket linked to Tesco until I went inside. Straight from the food court, at the back, link to a supermarket name Udini Square. Half the shops were opened, others' were still on a renovation. When we went, the place was quite creepy and eerie.

Teik wanted to find a disabled car sticker in D.I.Y.shop. We searched the shop but there wasn't any so we headed back Tesco. Since I wanted to buy food back home, we had our meal there, together ordering my food.

After buying everything, we head back to the car park. When we were out from Tesco, then I knew Udini Square was a Complex, where there were apartments were build above.

They drop me home around 4.15 pm.  It was a nice outing, enjoying the air-cond and seeing a Udini Square Complex for my 1st time.

Check up & X-ray in GH

Tuesday, 18 Feb 2020

This morning I went to OT in GH for exercises, and after OT I went for a check up in 001 department as there some pain on the right side ribs ( below my breast) since 2 weeks ago

After Janice drop me at OT department, she drove to the Out Patient department (001). She asked mum to put my card at the counter, so later I can get a no easier and faster to see the doctor. My family knows I cannot wheel my wheelchair for long distance, so Janice drop mum at OT department to pushed me over too 001 department.

I finished OT at 11am and I saw mum was waiting for me in the counter room. After taking my appointment card. We went to 001 department, which was another side of the wing (if I to wheeled there, it would be quite tiring).

Outside and inside of 001 department, all the nurses (female/male) were wearing face mask due to the recent epidemic coronavirus. When I went to the counter to get my card and no, it was very fast as my card was place by the side. Before patients get to see the doctor. By the side of the of the counter, there were two nurses, checking patients; tempreture and blood pressure.
My pressure was good that morning.

We adjourned to the waiting place to see the doctor. There were less patients when at 11 something. I waited around 15min when my no was called and I went in to see the doctor. The doctor who saw me was a Malay lady.  I told the doctor about the pain I had on my right ribs, she suggested I go for x-ray. She wrote a letter to x-ray department. She asked to come back to see her at 2.30pm.

By then it was 12noon, mum pushed me to the x-ray department (012). Within mins I got my number easier as there were no patients at the front counter. After got my number, mum pushed me near the x-ray room. , I was called in. The Malay staff in charged, ask me to remove my blouse. Mum had to help me to change in to green rope. After changing, with mum and the Malay staff help, I lye on the x-ray table.

It took more 15mins for my x-ray front and side chest to be done. After completed, both of them helped me up onto my wheelchair, then mum helped me to changed back to my clothes. It was 12.15pm then, I called Janice to pick us up and we waited at 001 department. Many cars were queuing up to pick up their family members' or friends.

Janice arrived about 10min and we headed back home. We had a our meal as Janice bought all the food earlier. After eating, we had a short rest. During that time, scary thought came into my mind I was quite afraid of the result of the x-ray. I was thinking something happen to bones and I have be warded. I quickly earese it out of my mind.

After got ready, we went back to same department and went to see the doctor. There were small crowd of people waiting the doctor. Upon arrival, we knocked at the whether the doctor could able to see. There were patients' inside. So we waited for the patient to come out. After a while, mum showed her my card and I went in.

When she saw my x-ray, she said nothing wrong with my bones. I was so relief and was mum. The doctor precribed a few medication for my pain. We left the doctor's place and head to the main famisi (008). There were a crowd of people quieng up to take medication. Mum pushed me into to  take the no. My no was 30 numbers away. We waited inside as there were chair for mum to sit.

The numbers went move quite fast. We waited for almost 20mins then my no was called. Mum pushed me to the counter to collected my medicine. I got four medication, 2 for taking it and 1  box of tube for massage.

After finish taking my medication, I called Janice to fetch us and we waited at 001 department.
By then, there were less people as everyone was going home. When Janice arrived, she drove in easily to pick us.

Thank you God for my day, giving mum the strength to be my helper.  Thank you God, there was nothing serious wrong with bones

The Inspiration Hub

Saturday, 15 February 2020

The whole of last week and this week, I was searching for an editor/publisher to help me make my life stories into a book. Before emailing to Partridge S'gope, I emailed/whatapps to a publishing company  (The Inspiration Hub) in KL but there was no response from them. I also whatapps the person in charge. But there was no reply too.

13/2/2020 I try again to email them again, including another publisher in Penang.

15/2/2020 In the evening, I was thrilled (in my heart) that I received an email Nickey Teoh, Publishing Director of The Inspiration Hub from Kuala Lumpur saying they are able to find me an editor to edit story. I can also ask them about the publishing process.

I was really happy that he replied to me. I hope we will continue to keep in touch.

19/2/2020 I emailed Nickey again whether he would help me to find an editor for my stories.

21/2/2020 He replied to me, he needs the words count of my stories before he knows the cost and
find an editor for me.

It took me more than 2 weeks to word count of my writing. Janice also helped me count
my words too

8/3/2020 This evening I reply to him with my words count. Until today I'm still waiting for his reply

Dear God, please let Nickey Teoh reply to my email and able to find me an editor with a reasonable cost.

Please let me able to share YOU in my stories.

Partridge Publishing S'pore

Wednesday 12 Feb 2020

Fri 7/2/2020 I was checking on where I could find publishing company in Malaysia on the Google where they can publish my life story.  I emailed/whatapps to a publishing company in KL called The Inspiration Hub but there were no response from them.

Then a website caught my eyes, which was "Choose Your Publisher". Trying my luck, I summit in my name.

Sat 8/2/2020 On that evening, I received an email from Partridge Publishing Singapore saying they will be contacting me. I didn't take it seriously as that was an auto email.

Mon 10/2/2020 In the morning, I was slightly surprised to receive an email from Gerry Young (Partridge Publishing). He wrote quite a long email about himself and his company.  He said he is going to be my personal guide to publish my story. Shortly after that, I email him and showed him my blog and he was keen to help and guide me.

We correspond throughout the day and he wanted to called me. I make a time for him to call me in the evening

That evening Gerry Young called me. Funny though, I knew he was a man, but when I  heard his voice, he sound like a women. I guess it was like problem as he called from international line. We chat more than half an hour. He explained the whole program package to me and that whole week they will be giving me 30% discount. I ask him to put into writing for me. It was quite hard for me to understand what he said. I asked him to email me (in black & white) for me to understand more clearly.

That evening, I received an email proposal from him. I read through and I understand about at it. The next morning, I asked Janice to read through, she hesitate about it. She said will ask around, find out more about this company.

That same morning, Mr. Gerry sent me another email saying they will give me 40% discount for that day only if I signed up with them. I didn't reply him as it was too fast for me to accept it.
We knew he was pushing me to accept his proposal. Later that day after lunch, he called me again.

This time Janice was in my room, so I asked her to talk to Gerry. Janice couldn't understand much what he said and the phone line broke off. We were slightly shocked he was called from Philippines. He called but the line couldn't connect through. We knew something was not right.

He kept calling me, but I didn't answer his call as I was resting that time too. Later he send me an email explaining about his office and printing where about. He wanted Janice to understand it too. From then, I didn't take him seriously.

Janice help me to check other local publishing company too. I, my part also check up on goggle the local company and I email to them.

We also asked friends' if they know of any companies. I email to a few companies, but none of them reply.

I do not dare to accept Partridge offer as this is my first time finding an editor/publish. I would like find local publishers. Patridge Publishing still emailed me for other offers but I just ignored it.

Dear God, you know my heart. please help me to find an editor/publisher, so I can share YOU in my life story with others'

Julie Wake Prayers/ Funeral Mass

                  Mon, 27 January 2020

In the afternoon, Julie's body was brought back from GH mortuary and the undertakers' dress up Julie and did everything else for her. Then they transferred her to the funeral parlour of Immaculate Conception Church. When everything was settled they came back.

I just came back from my trip from Genting/Ipoh. Luckily Janice was at home then, to open lift door and wheeled me up. Mum was resting when I came back. When she heard my voice, she woke up to helped me.  There were lots of food and biscuits I brought home and Janice help keep everything in order. After having some light tea, mum helped me bath and I went to rest

Mum told me Julie's face was pretty and peaceful.

We adjourned to IC Church funeral parlour for Julie's wake prayers at night. Fr. Marshall was the first person sitting alone talking to Julie. He was waiting for our arrival. I was happy to see him
He sat awhile with me before others' came. There were few of Janice friends' who came before prayers too.

When I attend relatives' wake, I hardly wanted to go near the coffin to pay respect to them. But it was very different with Julie, I asked my niece to wheeled inside and help me to stand up to see her.

There I saw my daring sister lying so peacefully inside the white coffin with small angels' at all sides of the coffin and the room was beautifully decorated. I wanted to see her face and talked to her more, but other friends came in to pay their last respect.

Our church group members BEC 11 & 12, our relatives, cousins & friends slowly came in. There were food served to all of us.

BEC 11 and 12 church group stared the evening with songs, prayers, and rosary from our
After the prayers finished, everyone was served with a plate of Koay Teow and a bowl of sweet drink. We gathered, eat and talked. Everyone who came comfort me, but they don't understand my feelings on how missed someone so close to me

We were happy and pleased many people came to support us.

Tuesday, 28 January 2020

Mum and myself woke up quite early that morning. We prepared our ourselves and were ready. But Janice told us to leave the 10.20am, but when she brought us down to into the car park was over 10.30am. When driving to church, Janice received few calls from relative and friends saying the priest was waiting for us (family members) for prayers, before adjourn into the church. We rushed there, but traffic jam near the church, but manage to church as fast as possible

When we arrived at the church car park, an aunt and my cousin came to help us. They wheeled me and helped mum (lead her) to funeral parlour. I was so surprised everyone had arrive except the (we) family member. They wheeled me and mum followed together inside the funeral parlour where the prayers started in less than 5mins. Janice and family stood outside together with relatives and friends.

Our priest said 10mins prayer before we adjourn into the church. They took Julie's hearse to the front porch of church. All of us slowly walked behind hearse, while sang a few songs. We went into the we family members sat in front.

The mass was around 45mins. After finished, they wheeled the hearse to the front porch. All of us, one by one took turns to say goodbye to Julie. My brother in law helped me to stand up and say my last goodbye to Julie. After that, they closed up the coffin and all of us close relatives and friends adjourn to Batu Gatung. While I was at the front porch, I met my friend, Maureen Muthu from Sungai Petani. I was touched as she came out all the way just to attend Julie's funeral.

It took more than 20mins drive there. It was my first time to Batu Gantung Crematorium. I always heard of that place but never been there. There were 5 cars follow the hearse. When we reached the place, we thought there was only staircase. We found a ramp beside the crematorium. Few men who handle the hearse wheeled me up the ramp.

All of us stood in front of Julie's coffin, a lady communion minister said a prayer of blessing and we sang a few song before the coffin was drag into the fire. A few of us cried. I felt extremely sad inside me, but I wasn't able to cry out. Inside my heart, I was crying.

Before we disperse, we were served with cakes and plain bottle of drink. Janice thanked everyone for coming and supported us. She invited them to join us for lunch. Some went back, but my cousins' family and few of BEC 12 close friends' joined us

We adjourned to 747 Restaurant to have lunch. Janice had book 2 tables. When we arrived there were many cars outside. As it was the fourth day of Chinese New Year the restaurant were packed with people. All tables were full until we had difficulty finding place to sit. At last, there were 2 tables for us.  It was quite difficult for me to get in as the place was crowded. Luckily manage to slowly wheel me in.

We ate rice and a few dishes. Mum sat with her BEC group friends, together with my cousin and his family. Our table has less than 10 persons. While eating, I observed people from other tables' were enjoying their luncheon with their family and friends'.  A few tables not far from ours', the people were enjoying string their dish which was Yee Sang to bring them good luck and prosperity

We couldn't finish our food, so we took home our leftover. While mum's table finished all their food. We chatted among each other while eating and after luncheon. Around 2pm, all of us disperse and went our way.

Genting/Ipoh Trip

25-27 January 2020   -  Genting/Ipoh Trip

I was happy that this year my disabled friend Teik and my darling plan our Chinese New Year outstation trip on the first day of CNY. Mostly every year we travel on the second or third day

Why? Because I don't have to meet all my relatives and cousins as they come to visit my mum on the first day of CNY. This year, we have less visitors as we are mourning for Julie. Only our close relatives and cousins came to visit us.

Sat 25 Jan 2020

Teik, my disabled friend, her 2 daughters and my darling came to fetch me. We took only one car this time. After fetching me, we went to their center to fetch another 2 disabled friends before we started our journey. There are 7 of us in the car with 2 wheelchairs and our baggages'.

We stopped in Petronas Station, Green Lane to fill petrol and reload Touch & Go card. From there, we started our journey with smooth drive all alone the Penang brigde and on the highway without many cars.

It's a sunny morning. With trees on both of the highway and a smooth drive. A few of us fell asleep as we woke up quite early that morning. Halfway through, Teik stopped at the back of Petronas Station as few of them went down easy themselves.

From there, we continue our journey. We listen to music in the car, chit chat, I, myself continue writing my journal. It was at Tapah rest house when I ask to stop as to ease myself. My darling pushed me to find the disabled restroom. We parked our car quite far from the restroom, so we took a long walk to find the disabled toilet.

When we found it, I entered the disabled toilet, it wasn't DISABLED FRIENDLY. Even though the toilet was spacious and big but railing on the wall was very small and short. Due to my weak body, I was unable to hold bar and transfer myself over to the toilet bowl. Luckily, I took my bedpan along as easier to do my toileting. Thank God for helping me with my toileting. After done, we walked back to our car.

We continue our journey and reached Batang Kali and went to find a hotel. Due to CNY, most of the shops and coffee shops were closed, so the place were very quiet.

We found a Hotel Batang Kali 88, a budget hotel and book 2 rooms. We went inside and check out our rooms and leave our baggage inside. The rooms were very small and narrow, but luckily my wheelchair was able to move around. The hotel people were very friendly and greeted us Happy New Year and gave us 2 oranges.

After arranging everything at the hotel, we went for lunch at the nearest coffee shop (luckily it was open). As it was lunchtime, many people were inside eating, luckily we found ourselves a table. After our meal, we headed up to Genting. It took around 20mins drive up as there not many cars.

When driving up, we felt the cooling air and happy upon reaching Genting Highlands!  As we drove into the to parking area, thank God it wasn't hard for us to find a parking lot.

After parking our car, we headed to the 1st floor where all the game were there.  Teik bought games ticket for the 2 disabled friends and his daughters. While waiting for them, I saw the place were crowded with people many men, women, and children wear red T-shirts with mouse picture on it. The mouse symbolizes Year of the Rat.

If I was given a red T-shirt like that, I wouldn't want to wear. I don't like red color and I don't like cartoon pictures

After arranging everything for them, we left them with their games. After few hours, we arrange to meet back at the lobby.

Teik, my darling and myself went to Sky Casino on the same 1st floor. While entering the main door, a police guard opened the side door for us. When we entered the casino, I saw a very whole place was very big and spacious with a lot of people and there were type of games. The ceiling lights was yellow in color and it was very beautiful and elegant.

Teik saw an empty seat and started to play Roulette game. A while later, a man next to Teik got out from his seat. My darling tried his luck on the game. I watch them and tried to follow and understand the game but wasn't able too. It looks easy to play, but I couldn't get the idea how the game.

I felt bored sitting there without understanding, I wheeled myself around the place. Many people were playing same too. In front, there were a lady and man staff uniform announced the game to all the players.

After tried his luck, sadly my darling lost in the game and he stop playing. He pushed me around to see the other games people were playing. There were  card's and slots games too,  There were many other games on the other side, we didn't manage to see other games.

I needed to go to the restroom. We searched for the OKU toilet and thank goodness there is a disabled toilet inside the casino. The toilet was very big and clean. I was able to transfer myself over with the railing help. After doing my toileting, I heard there were people outside the toilet. When I came out, an elderly man on a wheelchair was waiting to go into toilet. He was talking to darling while waiting for me.

Teik also ended his game and earn some points. We went out from the casino together and Teik change went to his points for cash. There were a lot of people queuing up to collect their money after won their games.

We waited by the side of the counter. I was watching young to old people passing by, all type of religion, locals and overseas. The whole was decorations beautifully. It was nice and fun seeing the things in front of me. My darling came and wheeled to the lobby to find the other friends.

We rang them to let them know we were waiting at the lobby. Less than 10mins, they came down and meet us.

They told us they only played few games as there were too many were queueing for other games. Teik met us at the lobby and straight adjourned to the car park and went down to Batang Kali. There wasn't many then, we had smooth and easy drive down.

When arrived Batang Kali, we searched for coffee shop to have our dinner, but there none open. Then we went to Econsave Hypermarket Batang Kali to see there any food count,  but there were none too. It wasn't a big hypermarket, but there were many shops inside too. We shopped only around to buy some necessary food/items.

Because we couldn't find any eating shops, there were some  Malay stores by the roadside.(It was like night market). We decided to buy dinner at stores. It was cheap and many other people bought from them. We bought lots of food back to the hotel room to eat.

After dinner, my friends helped with bathing. The hotel room toilet/bathroom was incredibly difficult for all disabled but my friends managed to help in. As the toilet steps were more than 2 feet high.

I had travel with my friends too so many places, this bathroom/toilet is the most shocking I ever seen for now. Luckily we spent only a night there.

Sun  26 Jan 2020

We check out from Batang Kali Hotel and went to the nearest coffee shop for breakfast. There were a lot of people in that shop, but we managed to get a table. From there we adjourn to Ipoh. We had a smooth drive without too many cars on the highway. It took us 3 hours for us to reach Ipoh Toll

At noon, we reach Ipoh toll and went into Ipoh town. We search and manage to book Highway Times Inn Hotel and went in to check the rooms. The room was bigger than Hotel Batang Kail. There was a step into the bathroom/toilet. We tried my wheelchair to enter the toilet, luckily, they push in without difficulty.

After that, we left our baggage's there and went to the nearest coffee shop for lunch. The coffee shop was full with people until we have difficulty finding a table.

After lunch, because the weather was so hot, we didn't go anywhere. We were to visit other places, but we went ended up at AEON supermarket for shopping. That was the coolest place we went. Inside AEON, there were many outlets and restaurants and it was Sunday and also 2nd day of Chinese New Year. There were a lot people were enjoying lunch and shopping with their family.  I had a great time seeing so many branded outlets.

We went into the Hypermarket and bought lots of food and bring them back to the hotel to eat, rest and chit-chat. We enjoyed each others' company. I sat beside them and see them talking. It was great fun.

27 Jan 2020

In the morning my darling and myself went opposite to the Sun Sun Coffee Shop for breakfast. It was big eating place, full with of people. As there are no tables inside the shop, we decided just to sit outside. There are a few empty small tables. We didn’t know what to eat so we choose western food, which the stall was nearby to our table. The food was quite nice and cheap. Like usual, I couldn't finish the food. our two disabled friends’ were there for breakfast too, so we asked one of them to finish food as not to waste.

After breakfast, we checked out from the hotel and went to the regular shop to buy Salted Chicken.  The nearby parking place was always full with cars, but luckily there were few empty slots. We were able to park near the shop. I went down together as wanted to buy biscuits too. The Salted Chicken shop were always full with people. Every one of us bought the salted chicken and I also bought some biscuits.

After buying everything, we went to town area for some site seeing, but there were not anything much to see. So we went around to search for coffee shops to have lunch but most of shop were all full house. We drove slowly to find a coffee-shop and parking slot too. At last, we found a parking slot nearby a shop. The shop was full with people. Luckily, we found an empty table at the back of the shop.

After filling our stomach, we left Ipoh with a smooth drive back to Penang. It took us 2 hours drive, and everyone fell asleep in the car. We reached Penang Bridge very fast. After pass the bridge, I was the first they drop me home.

I was happy that we had a nice and enjoyable trip, even though we only went to a few places. But I was happy that we went Genting even only few hours there. Thank God for helping me throughout the journey and took care of all of us.
